Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside, we have fast become one of the leading and most sought-after private carp syndicates in the South East of England.
With stunning surroundings, secure private access and an incredible stock of hand-picked carp, the aim has always been simple — to create the kind of syndicate that once you join, you never want to leave.
Our exclusive 3 lake complex is limited to just 35 members, offering a premium, private and secure carp fishing experience, Nearly 50% of members are 10 plus years membership, up to 16 years of support from some members..
Formerly known as Fallow Lake, Steve’s Lake was renamed in loving memory of my late father. Stocked in 2017 with a selection of outstanding English carp, the lake was left to mature before opening to members on 1st January 2019.
It has quickly become a serious big-fish water, already producing incredible results, with the current lake record now standing at 55lb 6oz, last caught in April 2025.

PREMIER CARP SYNDICATE
Nestled in the heart of the Sussex countryside, The Exclusive Carp Syndicate has been carefully developed to offer a truly unique big-carp fishing experience. Our aim has always been simple: to create a peaceful, exclusive environment where members can enjoy fishing for some of the finest specimen carp in the country while watching them continue to grow and thrive.
Fishery owner Ashley Groom, alongside his late father who sadly passed away in 2018, invested heavily in sourcing some of the very best carp available, with many fish hand-selected from renowned supplier VS Fisheries. That vision continues today, with constant investment in stock, facilities, water quality, habitat management and fish welfare across the complex.
The rewards for members are exceptional. While our fish are never easy to catch, that’s exactly what makes every capture so special. The lakes are home to an incredible head of large carp, including numerous fish over 40lb and an ever-growing number of fish exceeding the magical 50lb barrier.
Steve’s Lake has already produced fish to a staggering 55lb 6oz. With around 70% of the stock in our flagship lake now exceeding 30lb, and many fish still having significant room for growth, the future has never looked brighter.
Combined with low angling pressure, stunning Sussex countryside surroundings and a genuine focus on quality rather than quantity, The Exclusive Carp Syndicate offers members the opportunity to target some truly special fish in a private, well-managed environment where both fish welfare and the angling experience come first.
